  • Baseplate Feedthroughs

    MPF has multiple ceramic-to-metal designs for Baseplate Feedthroughs. We braze and weld them into 304 Stainless Steel 1” OD bolts in-house. These bolts next become compressed against the wall of the vacuum/pressure vessel using an elastomer style O-ring. Baseplate Feedthroughs are typically used in High Vacuum deposition and coating applications where a quick disconnect mounting system is preferred. MPF offers these units in High Voltage, High Amperage, Multipin, Thermocouple, and Coaxial designs to meet all your system needs.

    MPF Products manufactures RF Coaxial connectors as an integral part of a Beam Position Monitor. These devices are used in High Energy Physics applications worldwide to gather characteristics about a beam’s size, shape, location, and intensity. These connectors are designed for UHV, high temperature environments with a capacitive button/antenna used for non-destructive diagnosis. MPF’s Beam Positioning Feedthroughs are used in leading edge synchrotrons, accelerators, cyclotrons, and light source facilities around the globe. We utilize 304SS, 304LSS, 316L, 316LN and titanium materials. Our units also have a flatness of Antenna-to-Housing (within .002”), concentricity of Antenna-to-Housing (within .002”), parallelism (within .002”), perpendicularity (within .002”) and have matched-impedance.
  • Coaxial Connectors

    MPF's standard coaxial connectors offer an electrical continuity, through the innermost conductor, while being electrically isolated from the vacuum flange and grounding system. Our coaxial connectors can also have a Floating Shield feature, which offers additional isolation from the chamber ground. These designs can be utilized with standard Mil-Spec airside connectors. We also offer Double-End versions where a connector can be used inside the vacuum chamber. MPF offers numerous coaxial connectors designated to fit varying requirements.

    MPF Products, Inc. designs and manufactures a variety of electrical feedthroughs that assist/support the Thin Film Deposition Equipment marketplace. All of our products are Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) compatible and ideally suited to be mounted on Base Plate Bolts or KF Flanges for vacuum ratings between 1x10 -5 cc/sec He to 1x10 -8 cc/sec He. We offer single pin high amperage designs so you can place a large amount of energy into your source material for your Thermal Evaporation process, or you can choose from a variety of multipins for your Electron Beam Guns or Magnetron Sputtering applications. We also offer standard coaxial feedthroughs that support the needed signal information for your Crystal Sensor Holders and Crystal Sensing Devices to ensure your coating thicknesses are being deposited correctly.     MPF Fiber Optic Feedthroughs are designed for UHV applications with extremely low outgassing rates and excellent helium leak rates. These products are designed to mate with industry standard connectors (FC/PC, FC/APC, and FSMA). They also allow for high transmission and minimal insertion loss at interconnects. We offer four fibers in single mode and four fibers with broader range frequencies (multimode).
  • Multipin Connectors

    MPF manufactures Multipin Connectors with a single header design and varying conductor qualities. These multipin’s are typically used for the transmission of multiple electrical signals. In some applications, they could also be used for low power requirements. The pin sizes can vary from .032” inches up to .142” inches supporting 1 amp per pin to 40 amps per pin. We offer these designs in Copper, Alumel, Nickel, BeCu, Stainless steel, and Molybdenum conductor materials. We offer instrumentation circular Mil-C-5015 and Mil-C-26482 in addition to Instrumentation rectangular Sub D series 24308 and Micro D series 83513.

    MPF Power Feedthroughs transmit varying amounts of voltage, and current, from an external power supply to inside the vacuum chamber which powers the customer application. Our products provide a wide variety of conductor sizes and alumina ceramic designs to satisfy the electrical system requirements. Our standard designs utilize copper, nickel, molybdenum, and stainless-steel conductors. We offer 500 volts to 100,000 volts with our standard designs.

    MPF has standard RF Power Feedthroughs as a catalog item. These pieces are specifically designed for the transmission of Radio Frequency power into the vacuum environment, using non-magnetic materials to reduce current induction. Our designs are water-cooled feedthroughs, intended for use with grounded, closed-loop cooling systems with non-conductive coolants such as deionized water. Standard conductor options for these feedthroughs include copper, nickel, and stainless tubes. These RF Power Feedthroughs are mostly used for induction heating, non-magnetic, and plasma generation applications.
  • Thermocouple Feedthroughs

    Thermocouple Feedthroughs are commonly used in temperature measurement systems. They are designed to conduct a thermocouple’s voltage signal from inside the vacuum system to an external controller. MPF creates a hermetic bond between the alumina ceramic and various Thermocouple conductors such as Alumel, Chromel, Iron, Constantan, and compensating wire for Tungsten, Rhenium, Platinum, and Rhodium.
  • UHV Isolators

    MPF's UHV isolators are tubular electrical isolators. Each design is comprised of a metal adapter hermetically bonded to each end of an alumina ceramic, resulting in a voltage standoff from each side. All of our UHV isolators will yield a different voltage standoff depending on the length, wall thickness and inside diameter of the alumina ceramic.

    MPF Products, Inc. specializes in designing and manufacturing UHV Viewports for scientific & harsh environment applications that require excellent atomic level hermeticity. MPF designs use UV and EUV grade Sapphire and Fused Silica to various metals. MPF has over 175 standard designs on our website, while our engineering team has produced hundreds of specialty viewport designs over the last twenty years. Our extensive inventory levels of titanium and 316LN materials can easily translate into truly non-magnetic windows for your demanding environment. Our Anti-Reflective (AR) and Indium-Tin-Oxide (ITO) Coated viewports have shipped globally for use in Laser Applications including KrF, XeCl, ND-YAG and Helium Neon lasers. We have also partnered with our customers to construct viewports for Differentially Pumped, Wedged, Brewster Angled, Large Viewing, Re-Entrant, Water-Cooled, Over Pressure and NIR/IR applications.
