Full-Time Positions:

Manufactured Precision Feedthrough Products, Inc (MPF Products, Inc.) Headquartered in Gray Court, SC specializes in the design and manufacture of electrical feedthroughs and viewports, utilizing the latest in ceramic-to-metal seal technologies.

We are an established manufacturing company looking for a creative Mechanical Engineer to work on all product stages; from research and development to design and manufacturing. The main job function is designing and developing ceramic-to-metal solutions for harsh environment applications.

The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform a full life-cycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)
  • Design systems and components that meet customer needs and requirements
  • Conduct experiments methodically, analyze data and interpret results
  • Test and evaluate theoretical designs
  • Identify, formulate, and produce effective solutions to emerging problems
  • Alter and modify designs to meet requirements and to eliminate failures
  • Solicit observations from technicians
  • Engage with sales and marketing teams to solicit ideas and market trends for new products

 

Skills

  • Proficiency with SolidWorks 3D Design software preferred.
  • Creativity and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
  • Technical writing skills
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering is preferred.

MPF Products works with many of the top scientist and engineers across the globe.  We are looking for a creative Process Engineer to work on all manufacturing stages; from order entry, through production, QC and shipping.  The main job function is to optimize the processes used in the manufacturing of ceramic-to-metal solutions and optical assemblies for harsh environment applications.

  • Maintain and improve production process performance
  • Work with Operations and Production Managers to optimize routings and job-flow
  • Fully utilize and implement the tools in the ERP system
  • Collaborate with engineering team in resolving production issues 
  • Conduct experiments methodically, analyze data and interpret results
  • Identify, formulate, and produce effective solutions to emerging problems
  • Create, alter and modify work instructions to meet requirements and to eliminate failures
  • Solicit observations from technicians
  • Support QMS through corrective action of repeated failures

 

Skills

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Sales Engineer. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to sales staff and customers, communicating with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products, and driving sales growth through strong customer service. This role will be based in Bedford, VA, with some remote work flexibility.

 

 

Prerequisites

  • 5 Years Sales Experience (Combination of Inside and Outside Preferred)
  • 4 Year Technical Degree
  • 5 Years Experience in Technical or Related Field (Photonics Experience a Plus)
  • Ability to travel as needed and ability to work at Tradeshow Exhibitions & Conferences.

 

Position Overview

 

 

Generate and Provide Quotations

  • Respond to RFQ’s, Generate Costing, Provide and Follow-up on Quotations
  • Manage and Organize Quotations Using CRM (Pipedrive)
  • Organize and Maintain CRM (Pipedrive) Data; Keep Forecasting Up-to-Date

 

Customer Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Onsite Visits to Current Customers as Needed
  • Communicate and Solicit New Sales Opportunities from Current Customers

                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

Prospect and Develop New Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for the company’s products and services.
  • Work With Management in Generating Sales Leads VIA Marketing Channels, Prospect Lists and Referrals
  • Execute Sales & Prospecting Activities (Emails, Cold Calls, Onsite Visits)
  • Meet KPI’s Related to Prospecting, Engagement, Quotations and Bookings
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Provide Monthly Sales Report
