Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) is used for Infrared windows, lenses, mirrors and prisms between 0.5 microns and 22 microns. This material is widely used in the Forward Looking IR Systems (FLIR).
Additionally, MPF Products, Inc. does not approve the use of ultrasonic cleaning for any viewport. We ship our viewports UHV ready. Due to this, you may simply blow off the glass to remove any contaminants with clean, dry air.
